Happy Birthday, Gigi!!
Last year, I photographed the CUTEST 6 month old, Angela. She was so sweet and I loved photographing her and her family! This year, Angela's mom asked if I could come to their house to photograph Angela with her parents and grandparents, as it was her grandmother's ("Gigi") birthday! what a touching gift to give someone!

Can you see Angela's baby brother in this shot? ;) He'll be here before you know it!!

Happy Birthday to one of the most proud grandmothers around! :) You are blessed with an amazing family!

Happy Birthday, Evanthea!
Four years ago today, my little girl was born! Evanthea rushed into the world (no really, she couldn't wait for the doctor to deliver her!) and has been going since! I know this princess is going places because of everything she has had to overcome in her four years. Happy Birthday, baby!!
Here she is now at 4:
Here she is fresh home from the hospital! I think she's less than a week old. One of my favorite photos of her
Here is her first birthday! Her sister wanted to have a tea party to celebrate so we made little cupcakes and drank tea (water)!

Here she was at age 2 - I was changing her diapers and fell in love with the light on her angelic eyes. This photo made the HOT list on jpg magazine's
Her second birthday treat was going on the carousel for the first time!
The next two were from her Doodlebops birthday party - she was DeeDee Doodle! This was her 3rd birthday

Her 3rd birthday (last year), I took her to the mall for a special "girls' day out". we went to Build A Bear, Libby Lu, and the bookstore. Can you tell she's not used to not having her sister around? :)
Happy Birthday to my little sweetie!! Here's to many many more!! Daddy, Sissy & I love you!

Happy Birthday to my sick little 5 year old!
Alexandra turned 5 on Wednesday...after seeing the doctor on Tuesday to get the news that she has an ear infection in each ear and pink eye in each eye. After begging and pleading with the doctor, she was allowed to go to school after taking one full dose of the medication (try giving a munchkin some antibiotics and eye drops in a car seat...) so she wasn't contagious.
Here she is chatting with my mom to let her know where we are! Of course we had to hit the Dollar Store so she could spend her $5 she got in her birthday card! She bought herself the visor, a coconut cup for herself and one for her sister, and baby dolls for each of them.
Thankfully they had a 1/2 day that day at school and her only request was to go to Shady Glen for lunch then go home for a nap. Because she had her elaborate cake at her birthday party, we stopped by Whole Foods to get her a small one for the candle!

Happy Birthday, Sanda! I hope the rest of your 5th year is healthier! :)

Alexandra's 5th Birthday Party
Following in her mother's footsteps (in more ways than one...), Alexandra is a party planner at heart. Every year she chooses her theme for her party and decides what to do, where to go, and everything theme related (I kid you not, it started at 2 with Elmo...).
This year her original choice was carousel - we had planned to have her party at the carousel. There was some mis-communication at the beginning of the planning process and we decided to find an alternate. We went to Buckland Hills Mall to speak with them about their carousel and Alexandra saw a sign for Build A Bear...so we booked and planned her party in 15 minutes right then and there. Then we took some photographs for her invitation (which I ordered that night!).
We love you, Sanda!

Alaina's 4th Birthday Shoot
Today was a double header at Wickham Park - first I met with Brandy & Kevin for their engagement session (see below post), then I met with Alaina and her mom Kim. I fell in love with Alaina at first sight - she is just too adorable!!

The bubbles were a huge hit! Thanks to my kids for the wonderful idea to use bubbles for props! Nothing beats the mind of a 3 & 4 year old to work with a 4 year old! :)

Happy Birthday, Alaina!

Ella's First Birthday
Here are some of my favorites!
Both of Ella's parents are Itallian and both are in the restaurant business - what better shot than an Itallian restaurant with Baby Ella as the main course!
Ella's mom fell in love with the leopard print backdrop so we had to include it! What better shots than the cake eating! I love watching the kids discover cake for the first time! Ella was a riot because she jumped for the cake then didn't know what to do with the frosting all over the place! Thanks for the laugh, Ella!
