We couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather but even with the temperature well over 50 degrees the lake was still covered in ice and the Fire Dept. had to break a spot open for the plungers.
Radio 92.5 and 95.7 were there to broadcast and the crowd raised enough to send one of theirs into the cold water!
The Penguin, Rocky the Rock Cat and Miss Berlin joined in the festivities. There was even a mini parade staged by the Krazy Krew that def set the bar for outrageous costumes! Even the puppies had costumes!

I have to say I love seeing the smiling faces coming out of the water! There were so many great costumes and happy faces I think I'll post a second blog tomorrow! Jessica and I had a blast and are looking forward to next year at Ellington's Penguin Plunge!
