In my previous post (part 1), our awesome brides shopped the market and showed how much fun it is! In this post, they ARE brides!
We want to show that brides can shop locally for weddings! Just about every vendor we spoke with was amazingly excited about our project! We would like to thank each and every one for working with us!! These photos are just a handful of my favorites and everyone is acknowledged!
This first shot tells it all! MADE IN CT! :)
Susan Parks Soaps make for great favors or bridesmaid gifts!!! (or even for the hard working vendors...just saying...LOL!)
My favorite on the creativity end was Swift Farm's Beeswax candles - fantastic! I had too much fun photographing everything! They had some cute little candles for the tables or even as favors! One of my favorite stops is Shayna B & the Pickle - Christine offers some of the best gluten/dairy free sweets around! (for those of you who don't know, my youngest daughter has allergies to wheat, dairy, soy, and bananas) I just have to go to her tent BEFORE I start photographing next time - I missed everything that was safe for Evanthea! But these ring dings looked just as scrumptious!!
Farmer's Cow had the most delicious lemonade AND iced tea. it was perfect on that SUPER humid day!
Erica Andrews of Hurricane Farm was awesome enough to toast us with her maple syrup and flavored vinegar! Sometimes you just have to humor the photographer!! Seriously, I've known Erica and her husband for years - she should have known I would stop by! ;) Thanks Erica!
Our bride, Amanda is taking a little break from the excitement on New England Beef's truck!
Amanda is an animal lover! Here she is with one of the horses from Tara Farm Rescue
Amanda again showing off her awesome "bouquet"! We purchased the bouquet from Highland Thistle Farm.
What a day! Not only do we get to play and have fun at the market, but we got to meet Nathan Hale himself! OK, so he was just a really cool rider dressed like him who loved getting his photo taken!! ;) Thank you to the Nathan Hale Homestead for allowing us to photograph the festivities!
The market does have live music! Katie & Amanda couldn't resist a quick dance!
Thank you to the AMAZING Lizzie for donating hot dogs to our HUNGRY brides! A little break by Lizzie's Truck. Lizzie owns Taking Care of Tummies - another Coventry based business
Our favorite beef guy!! :) Thanks to New England Beef for loaning our prop (I'm talking about that t-bone steak he's holding)! ;)
Another adorable horse from Tara Farm Rescue! This guy really loved our bouquets! At least we got him to cooperate!!
Katie ROCKS those walking shots! Here we are walking into the market
The HUGE parking lot - how can you not love parking in this vast field? And yes, the sky was really that angry...we were in the midst of tornado watches!!
Thank you to all of the vendors at the Coventry Farmers' Market! We made a lot of purchases...some were eaten and others were enjoyed for our next photo shoot! ;) Stay tuned for part 3!!
